The great thing about getting older is you tend to say what is on your mind without worrying about what others think. So, here is a little of what is on my mind, or at least what is left of it.

A Nation of Workers

The predominant rule of capitalism seems to be that there is always someone who will do the job for less. Now, contrary to what President Bush says, we are not a nation of owners–most of us work for a living. That being the case, why should working men and women of this country support businesses that do not support us? I doubt that many would embrace the idea that, "The many of us exist to work for as little as possible so that the few might grow rich."
